AI-First Search Strategist · Backend & AI Systems Engineer

Search and engineering are the
same problem now: being the
thing an AI system names.
How I work
I spent the first years of my career in technical SEO and performance marketing, and the last few building the backend and machine-learning systems that make marketing measurable. That combination is the point: AI-first search is not a content problem, it is an engineering problem: crawlers, structured data, entity graphs, retrieval, and the instrumentation that proves any of it worked.
Today that means two kinds of engagement. For brands competing in AI answers, I design the content and entity architecture that earns citations across the five surfaces search now runs on, with dashboards that track AI share of voice the way we used to track keywords. For product teams, I build the APIs, pipelines and model-backed services underneath, with the test discipline that keeps them honest under load.
Across eight years I have worked with agencies and product teams in the UK, US, Nigeria and across Asia, delivered 80+ sites, built 12 WordPress plugins and 8 themes, and shipped fraud, recommendation and NLP systems into production. I am based in Thailand and work remotely with teams worldwide.

AI-First Search & Visibility
Search now happens on five surfaces at once, and the click is no longer the outcome. I engineer the content architecture, entity signals and off-site authority that make a brand the
thing an AI system names: then measure it, so the work is judged on citations rather than impressions.
Backend & AI Systems
APIs, data pipelines and model-backed services that stay up. I build the backend, the integration and the observability, and I ship with tests that include the failures people skip:
concurrency, recovery, chaos, because a system is only as good as its worst hour.
How a project runs
Every engagement starts by defining the number that will prove it worked. Scope, definition of done and measurement come before any build, so the end of a project is a
comparison rather than an opinion.
How I work
Remote-native across three continents, and used to working inside agencies, product teams and solo engagements. Written updates, decisions recorded, and no dependency on my memory
of why something was built the way it was.
